NOTEABOUT THIS SITE

About this site

Character and illustrations
The logo squid, the night-sea hero scene and the sticker concepts were developed by the club from AI-generated drafts. They are not photographs.
About the sea data
Weather and wind come from MET Norway (CC BY 4.0, corrected for each area) and JMA; waves from NOAA WaveWatch III and JMA; rain chance, advisories, warnings and observations from JMA (source: JMA website, processed for display). All are available for commercial use. We have just switched sources and are still fine-tuning them.
Fishing locations
Map pins mark approximate areas and say nothing about permission or access. Member catch photos never disclose the spot.
Board posts
Field reports belong to the people who post them. Use the button on each card to report an inappropriate post.
